Assemblymember Sebastian Ridley-Thomas
D-Los Angeles

Elected in to the 54th Assembly District in December 2013, he represents the Los Angeles County communities of Century City, Culver City, Westwood, Mar Vista, Palms, Baldwin Hills, Windsor Hills, Ladera Heights, View Park, Crenshaw, Leimert Park, Mid City, and West Los Angeles.  Assemblymember Ridley-Thomas serves as chair of the Assembly Committee on Revenue and Taxation.  He also serves on the Assembly Banking and Finance Committee and the Assembly Health Committee.  Assemblymember Ridley-Thomas previously served as public policy director for State Senator Curren Price.  He also served as legislative consultant to the Senate Select Committee on Procurement, and as the political director for the nine-member California Legislative Black Caucus.  Appointed to the Little Hoover Commission by Assembly Speaker Emeritus Toni G. Atkins in January 2015.
