Pursuant to Government Code Section 11125.3 (b), notice is provided that the Little Hoover Commission has added two items to those previously noticed for consideration at its business meeting on Thursday, February 24, 2011 to be held in Sacramento in the Legislative Counsel Conference Room, 925 L Street, Lower Level. The public meeting was previously noticed on February 10, 2011.
On February 16, 2011, the Commission received correspondence from Governor Edmund G. Brown requesting input from Little Hoover Commission Chairman Daniel W. Hancock on the top ten actions California can take to reduce government waste and operate more efficiently. Pursuant to Government Code Section 11125.3 (a) 2, the Commission has added agenda items VIII and IX.
The Commission will consider agenda items I-IX at approximately 12:30 p.m. following a previously noticed public hearing on California’s community college system, which is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. in Room 437 of the State Capitol. The public hearing agenda and the revised business meeting agenda are attached.
