(916) 445-2125Notice of Meetings - UPDATE
On Thursday, March 26, 2020, the Little Hoover Commission will conduct a business meeting beginning at 9:45 a.m. The meeting will now be conducted entirely by teleconference using FreeConferenceCall.com, under the provisions of the Bagley-Keene Act as revised by Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20. Members of the public may listen to the meeting and make public comment by calling 605-313-6179, access code 712889. We have canceled the previously noticed physical location for this meeting.
The public hearing previously scheduled for March 26 has been postponed due to the coronavirus epidemic.
The Commission may act on any item listed on the attached business meeting agenda. Agenda items may be taken out of order to accommodate speakers and to maintain a quorum. The meeting may be cancelled without notice.
If you need reasonable accommodation due to a disability, please contact the Little Hoover Commission at (916) 445-2125 or littlehoover@lhc.ca.gov by Tuesday, March 24, 2020.
There are two options to join the call using FreeConferenceCall. 1) You may join simply by dialing 1 (605) 313-6179 and entering access code 712889. Or 2) You may access the meeting over WiFi by downloading the mobild app for iPhone here and for Android here. Once you open the app, you will be given the option to create an account or act as host of the meeting, but can skip these steps. Click "Join" and a window will pop-up telling you it will call a number that may be different than the call-in number you entered (this is the system's way of rerouting calls to a network with the most bandwidth). Click "Got it" and you will be connected to the call. The system asks you to identify yourself and once you do so you are entered into the call.
Please be aware that there may be delays in responding to emails or other communications to the Commission as our staff is now working largely from home due to the coronavirus epidemic. We appreciate your patience.
